About the training

This course explores the complex interactions between humans, animals, and the environment through the lens of climate change and public health. Students will examine how climate change influences the emergence and spread of both chronic and infectious diseases, the health impacts of extreme weather events, air and water quality, and food safety. The course also addresses sustainable lifestyles, climate-related health inequalities, and the role of national and international climate policies. Special focus is given to the "One Health" concept, zoonotic disease prevention, and the environmental impact of the food production chain. Learning is reinforced through individual and group projects, case studies, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
