Launched in February 2025, The Health Union Fellowship brings together a group of health policy professionals across the EU, who are united by their commitment to guiding and mentoring the next generation of EU health experts. It is a flagship initiative of the European Commission, led by DG SANTE, as part of the European Health Union’s strategic vision.
- The fellowship is designed to empower health experts and policymakers across Member States by giving them the skills, tools and expertise needed to navigate the complexities and every-changing world of EU health policy.
- Participants will complete the fellowship with a deep understanding of EU governance and insights into policy, creating strong diplomats who are prepared to strengthen and shape impactful health policies.
- At the core of the programme is fostering collaboration and meaningful exchanges between health professionals across Europe by promoting shared learning and bridging differences between national health systems.
